The Academy for Teaching and Learning is dedicated to being a significant leader in providing relevant, responsive, and innovative professional development to educators. Our goal is to improve the education of New Jersey students by providing educators with the tools they need in this quest for excellence. The Academy incorporates an ambitious technology strand that emphasizes the interconnection between teaching, learning and technology. We endeavor to support professionals in meeting the rigorous standards of No Child Left Behind, and accept the challenge of making students life-long learners and productive citizens.

Workshops offered through the Academy have been designed for individuals who want to lead the way in improving teaching and learning through instructional theories and practice and the application of educational technology to enhance the learning experience for all students.

In addition to offering centrally located open-enrollment workshops, which range from one to five days in length, we can customize many of these workshops to your specific needs and bring them on-site to your school.
