Dr. Blitz, Director of the Center for Effective School Practices, hosted an in-person Professional Learning Research Alliance (PLRA) meeting in Philadelphia on October 29, 2015. The goal of the meeting was to bring together the research alliance members to discuss current and upcoming projects, as well as to chart emerging goals and objectives supporting PLRA members' practice. Throughout the day, members of the research alliance participated in collaborative activities and engaged with current and important issues related to their own work and objectives, as well as to their collective commitment to excellence in professional learning. The meeting was based on a learning-intensive agenda, including collaborative reflection and active connections among new and veteran PLRA members.
It was great to have this opportunity to spend the day with each other as we work towards our PLRA goals. Please click here to learn more about PLRA and the Regional Educational Laboratory Mid-Atlantic (REL MA).
