Dr. Zywicki coordinates the delivery of professional development programs related to blended learning and technology integration for CESP. He received his Ed.D. and M.A. degrees in Educational Leadership from St. Peter’s University’s Caulfield School of Education, as well as, a B.A. in History and English from Rutgers University. Dr. Zywicki is an experienced school administrator who has successfully led several district-wide technology initiatives and has served as a consultant to many districts on blended learning. In addition, Dr. Zywicki teaches in the 200-hour Alternate Route program at the Rockaway location through the Center for Effective School Practices (CESP). He is the founder of #RUGSEAR, CESP’s Twitter chat for Alternate Route students and instructors.
Currently serving as Superintendent of Schools of the Weehawken Township School District, Dr. Zywicki is also a member of the New Jersey Department of Education’s (NJDOE) Elementary and Secondary Education Act Advisory Council, and was one of the co-authors of the NJDOE Model Curriculum. Recently, he served on the Governor's Standards Review English Language Arts Committee that made revision recommendations to tailor the Common Core State Standards to meet the needs of New Jersey’s students. Previously, Dr. Zywicki served in the High Point Regional School District as Assistant Superintendent and Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology; he was also Supervisor at Hunterdon Central Regional High School. He has taught at the Bayonne Public Schools, Voorhees High School, and Montgomery High School, all in New Jersey.
