Dr. Cynthia Blitz along with Dr. Michael Kuchar, Superintendent of Bergenfield Public Schools, Dr. Frank Auriemma, consultant for Excellent Educators for New Jersey, NJ, and Elizabeth Jewett, Superintendent of Watchung Hills Regional High School District, NJ presented at the College Board Middle States Forum 2015 in Baltimore. MD. Their presentation titled, Using Research to Increase Teacher Efficacy: Outcomes from the Three-Year EE4NJ Pilot, discusses the challenges of providing quality professional development to address a wide range of needs.  Their presentation highlights the link to high quality professional development for teachers/administrators that link to educator evaluation systems which support implementation of challenging content standards and rigorous assessments.

This presentation is a direct result of the collaborative work between CESP and Bergenfield Public Schools on the assessment of measures being used by the district for the purpose of improving teacher effectiveness and student achievement. To view the presentation, please click here.
