Mark Wise is part of the Center for Effective School Practices (CESP) Educational Leadership Team providing New Jersey educators with engaging and pertinent professional development. Mark’s workshops include focus on developing teacher and administrative capacity for designing and implementing meaningful project-based learning in middle schools that cultivate 21st century skills. He also offers meaningful insights on formative assessments, the UbD model, and 4-year plans for teacher induction.
Aside from his workshops with CESP, Mark is currently the Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction at the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District, where he oversees 6-12 grade teachers and develops district curriculum and professional development to match district initiatives. Mark designed and implemented the Global Challenge program, a end-of-year exit performance for 8th grade students.
Mark holds his master’s degree from Harvard University in Public Policy, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts.
