Mr. Bacchus teaches in the 400-hour Alternate Route program in Paterson through the Center for Effective School Practices (CESP).
Mr. Bacchus has served in numerous leadership positions, including Director of University Charter High School, Director of Accountability for Paterson Public Schools and principal--a position he currently holds in Paterson. Mr. Bacchus facilitates three phases of the Rutgers Alternate Route course of study, focusing on learning environment, professional learning, ethical practice, content knowledge, learning differences, planning for instruction, instructional strategies, assessment, and leadership and collaboration.
Mr. Bacchus holds an Ed.M. in Education Leadership and a M.A. in Bilingual & Multicultural Education from New Jersey City University. His B.S. in Engineering is from Rutgers University.
