Research Assistant Sahar Khan Sherwani is a Research Assistant at CESP, and is pursuing her dual Master’s degree in Public Policy and Public Informatics at Rutgers University. With a deep commitment to educational equity, Sahar is passionate about using data-driven approaches to inform programs and policy, and improve outcomes for historically underserved communities. Her work at CESP focuses on both qualitative and quantitative analysis of interviews and survey data, contributing to the continuous improvement of the Center’s research projects and efforts. 

Sahar brings over seven years of experience in mixed methods research, data analysis, and program evaluation, having worked with government institutions, NGOs, and educational organizations both in the United States and internationally. Her proficiency with tools like STATA, R, Python, SQL, and Power BI allows her to provide rigorous analysis and actionable insights. Sahar is excited to contribute to CESP’s mission of advancing data-informed policies that foster equity and close achievement gaps.
