Home Reinforcement Guide: Activity Cards

RESOURCE DESCRIPTION

These activity cards make it easy to support your child's learning at home. Each card describes a short activity you can do together, usually in five to fifteen minutes, using simple supplies like index cards, a die, or letter cutouts. Clear step-by-step directions walk you through everything, so no experience is needed! There are also tips for adapting each activity to meet your child's needs and to extend them to practice other topic. Skills covered include letter sounds, spelling, sight words, reading comprehension, and storytelling, with activities for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
